Harry Paye: The Famous Poole Pirate - 2 hours KS1 History:

Climb aboard the museum’s pirate ship to learn about Poole’s famous pirate hero, ‘Arry Paye and life on board ship long ago. 
Mrs Jolly’s Jubilee: 

Life in Queen Victoria’s Britain - 2 hours

KS1 History:

  • The lives of significant individuals in the past 
  • Comparing aspects of life in different periods 
  • Historical terms and vocabulary 

 

Step back to 1897, the year of Queen Victoria’s Diamond jubilee. Join a local household to prepare for the celebrations and find out about life in Victorian times.
Toys Through Time - 2 hours KS1 History:

  • Changes within living memory 
  • Chronology 
  • Words and phrases relating to time 

 

KS1 D&T:

  • Materials and components 

 

Travel back in time to find out about toys from the past. Practice ordering toys using key words linked to chronology

We recommend booking workshops as far in advance as possible in order to avoid disappointment.

Two hour workshops: £110 (Poole Schools) / £125 (Non Poole Schools)

Four hour workshops: £190 (Poole Schools) / £220 (Non Poole Schools)
