The pitter patter of tiny feet

babies in the museum

This week the Museum feels very young. We've had some of our youngest school visitors in taking part in our pirates workshop. It always cheers me up to see 30 little pirates troop past my office. Tomorrow I'm going to meet colleagues to discuss developing our work with babies and toddlers and I'm just working on a new project to develop outreach for pre-schools.

We've also got our usual Museum Music and Mime session on Friday, which we're also taking out to a pre-school next week. At the moment we charge a small amount for this group at the Museum, but it will be free after Easter, so please spread the word.

I'm also just about to send out the details for our next very popular Starting Out session which will take place at the Museum on 9th April.

Babies and small children are always welcome at Poole Museum, so why not bring yours along and have an adventure together.
